Those who were killed included multimillionaire businessman Peshraw Dizayee and his family members, according to the statement released early on Tuesday.
Dizayee was killed in the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) missile attacks. He was the owner of big construction projects in Kurdistan and other places in Iraq and a trade partner for the Zionist regime of Israel.
Mashan al-Jabouri, a neighbor of Dizayee's, has confirmed the killing of the big investor on a road to Salah al-Din resort which was an under-construction palace belonging to the multimillionaire.
Through a related statement, the IRGC said late on Monday that it has targeted and destroyed espionage centers and gathering of terrorist groups in the region with ballistic missiles.
The IRGC issued two separate statements following the strikes, which it said, were in response to recent terrorist attacks in Iran, a reference to terror bombings in the southeastern city of Kerman as well as a terrorist attack on the Rask police station in Sistan-Baluchistan province, southeastern Iran.
